Best Time to Visit Bali in 2026: Dry Season vs Wet Season

Best Time to Visit Bali in 2026

Travellagio · 5 min read

Bali has two seasons: dry (April–October) and wet (November–March). Both are warm (27–30°C year-round). The difference is rain, crowds, and prices.

Dry season (April – October): peak time

Little to no rain, perfect beach weather. July–August is peak season: highest prices, most crowds. The sweet spots are April–May and September–October — dry, warm, and 20–30% cheaper than peak.

Wet season (November – March): budget time

Rain comes in short, heavy bursts (usually afternoon) rather than all-day drizzle. Mornings are often clear. Prices drop 30–50%, tourist crowds thin dramatically, and the rice terraces are at their greenest. The trade-off: some boat trips to islands get cancelled in rough seas, and surf conditions change.
