Entry & visa status
Most nationalities can still get a visa on arrival, and the Jordan Pass (bought online in advance) remains the recommended route since it covers both the visa fee and entry to Petra and other major sites.
What’s changed recently
Wadi Rum’s desert camp options have continued to expand, giving more choice between basic and higher-comfort overnight stays in the desert.
