Airport vs city prices
One reported detail is worth knowing: the same AIS 30-day unlimited plan is about 1,199 baht at the airport, while tourist SIMs sold at 7-Eleven or in the city are reported at roughly 299 to 599 baht. If you do not need data the moment you land, buying in town can be cheaper, but plans and prices vary by store.

eSIM or physical SIM?
