Short answer: Yes. Georgia is one of the safest countries in Europe for tourists. Violent crime against visitors is extremely rare. Petty crime (pickpocketing) is less common than in most Western European cities. Here’s the detailed breakdown.
Crime
Georgia has very low crime rates. Tbilisi is safe to walk at night in most areas. The main risk is aggressive driving (see below). Petty theft exists in crowded areas like the Dry Bridge market but is uncommon compared to Barcelona, Rome, or Paris.
